We had an issue with our heat that no one else could figure out – other companies, HVAC, electrical and plumbers, all quoted thousands of dollars to fix things that weren’t actually the problem. Bob sent a technician next-day after I texted him to introduce myself and our issue, and he was incredibly kind and thoughtful, took time to really investigate what was wrong, fixed it all and stayed to make sure everything was working perfectly before he left. I bought a house and needed to replace lots of aluminum wiring on a tight schedule. Bob and his team knocked it out of the park on quality, communication, and speed at a fair price. Bob, Pedro, Milton, and Peter were really considerate, e.g. they put down drop cloths everywhere before they started work and did a great job cleaning up. Bob and his team also did a great job helping me understand my options, e.g. the tradeoffs for upgrading our sump pump outlet to GFCI.

Bob did a fantastic job on my home! We had him put in recessed lights and some plugs and switches.

They put down drop clothes vacuumed when done and were personal.

He arrived when he said he would, give an estimate, sent the estimate, and gave us a good timeline of when he’d be able to do the job .

Half the battle of a good contractor is somebody was responsive and Bob was absolutely responsive and great to work with I highly recommend him. He also came in just a few hundred dollars under a couple other contractors who weren’t as responsive that made us feel like we weren’t being ripped off. He was more in the ballpark of what we thought we should be paying an electrician. I’m gonna hire him again to do more electrical work- he was great and he came all the way to Reading mass!!!!!

Was able to get a decent size job (~1 day) scheduled on very short order (the next day if I were available — but I wasn’t, so in 2 days).

Excellent and professional communications throughout the process. Prompt start to job. Work done well with minimal holes in finished space to fish a pretty big wire.

I read some complaining about price, but for small jobs, an hourly rate was quoted upfront — I did not seek to go through a fixed bid process. Materials appeared to be within reasonable price ranges as well. Honestly, the hourly rate was not much higher than what I paid someone else 15 years ago.

Normally don’t feel like writing service provider reviews except when someone really stands out. (Only my 2nd such review to date!)
